Many greeting and photo-animation apps show the price only after you have uploaded photos or built the video, then start a weekly or yearly plan. In our sample of 510 one- and two-star App Store reviews of 11 such apps, 151 are about charges, trials or cancelling: the most common complaint by far. Read what the app does with uploads first: some reviewers accuse apps of reusing photos in their ads. **6. How do I put the person's name in an AI birthday video?**
In three places: on screen as type (exact spelling, added in the edit), sung or spoken in the audio, and in one detail of the scene (a cake, a banner). Video models still garble text they invent, so either add the name as overlay type or print it on the first still with GPT Image 2.5 and animate from there: in our test "MAYA 30" on a cake was spelled right on the first try and stayed readable through 8 s of Seedance 2.5. **7. How do I make a happy birthday song with someone's name using AI?**
Write short lyrics yourself with the name on the first and last line of the chorus and two or three true details, then generate with a style ("upbeat acoustic pop, warm female vocal, 112 BPM"). In our test ElevenLabs Music sang every line and the name as written (32 s, 8 credits); Lyria 3.5 refused the name "Maya" (also an artist's name) and sang "Lena" fine. **8. Can I use the "Happy Birthday to You" song?**
The song itself is public domain: a US court ruled in 2015 that Warner/Chappell never held a valid copyright in the lyrics, the 2016 settlement put it in the public domain, and in the EU it expired on 1 January 2017. A particular recording is still someone's copyright, and some music models refuse prompts that quote the lyric (Lyria 3.5 did in our tests), so write your own words or sing it yourself.
