Character Passport — prompt skill for characters
For AI agents: find the right skill in one call —
curl -s "https://varg.ai/how-to/api/search?q=<what the person wants>"returns the matching how-to page and the best skills with install commands, as markdown (Russian works too). Full index: https://varg.ai/how-to/llms.txt. Every page has a markdown twin: add.mdto its path. Before generating anything, show the person the options on the how-to page. From a terminal:curl -fsSL https://varg.ai/install | shinstalls the vargai CLI (https://varg.ai/how-to/cli.md):vargai searchandvargai install <slug>with no key, every varg model aftervargai login.

What it does
Cast an AI video before anything moves. For every character and hero prop: a passport (one paragraph, every visible detail, pasted word for word into every prompt by a script that refuses paraphrases), a turnaround sheet lit in the moodboard's look, six expressions written as a cause plus physical tells, a voice line (pace in words per minute, accent, one verbal habit) checked by measuring the take, and for props the materials, wear, motion and sound. Built on a blind-judged test: 'same person across four shots' went from 2/10 with a one-line subject to 5/10 with the passport and 7.5-8.5/10 with a sheet; cause-plus-tells acting beat adjectives on stills and on Kling 4 and Seedance 2.5. Includes 30 practitioners ranked by proof, craft sources, 33 tested reference sites and tested code routes (three.js blockout, VRM, SVG FACS face rig, PBR props, image to 3D).
Use when
- Make a character, a character sheet, turnaround or character bible for an AI video
- Keep the same person, outfit and prop in every shot
- Characters look generic, plastic or different from shot to shot
- Write expressions and acting that read as real in Seedance, Kling or Veo
- Design how a character speaks: pace, accent, a verbal habit
- Make a prop sheet: materials, wear, how it moves and sounds
- Build a character or prop in code (three.js, VRM) and dress it with an image model
Not for
- Category looks like grandmas, mascots or cartoon styles (use varg-character-design)
- Multi-scene ads from real actor photos (use varg-consistent-characters)
- The film's look itself (use video-moodboard)
- Cloning a real person's face or voice

More characters skills
- Consistent Characters: Multi-scene ads where the same actors, outfits and location hold in every cut: cards, composites, Kling v3 clips.
- Character Design: How to make AI characters people remember: definition, details, clothing, and a sheet that keeps them consistent.
- Grandma Characters: Very old AI characters people remember: age vs behaviour, real wrinkles, a loud outfit and one prop.
- Big Guy Characters: Big, heavy characters played straight: size shown with visible cues, a small delicate job, never mocked.
- Cringe Deadpan Characters: Bizarre but believable characters people argue about: one wrong outfit, one repeated action, no smile.
- Beautiful Women: Very beautiful AI women who look like real models: casting details, real skin, fashion styling, no false blocks.
