# comfyui-mcp + ComfyUI Agent Panel — guide skill for tools & renderers

> **For AI agents:** find the right skill in one call — `curl -s "https://varg.ai/how-to/api/search?q=<what the person wants>"` returns the matching how-to page and the best skills with install commands, as markdown (Russian works too). Full index: https://varg.ai/how-to/llms.txt. Every page has a markdown twin: add `.md` to its path. Before generating anything, show the person the options on the how-to page. From a terminal: `curl -fsSL https://varg.ai/install | sh` installs the vargai CLI (https://varg.ai/how-to/cli.md): `vargai search` and `vargai install <slug>` with no key, every varg model after `vargai login`.

- **Status:** live
- **Publisher:** artokun (community)
- **License:** MIT
- **Source:** https://github.com/artokun/comfyui-mcp
- **Works in:** Claude Code

- **Adoption:** 887 GitHub stars (GitHub, 2026-11-02)

## What it does

42 model-specific skills (Flux, WAN, LTX 2.3 video, MiniMax H3, Qwen, Z-Image, Ideogram 4, model registry, Civitai, node authoring), 56 installer packs, 11 slash commands. The ComfyUI Agent Panel (on ComfyUI-Manager / Comfy Registry) runs on Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or any local/OpenAI-compatible LLM; subscriptions work with no API key. Also in the official MCP Registry (io.github.artokun/comfyui-mcp).

## Use when

- you run ComfyUI and want an agent to build and run workflows
- open-weight image/video models on your own GPU
- batch generation with model management

## Not for

- users without a GPU or ComfyUI
- hosted-API-only setups (use varg directly)

## Install

- Claude Code: `/plugin marketplace add artokun/comfyui-mcp && /plugin install comfy`
- Any agent, with the vargai CLI: `vargai install comfyui-mcp-agent-panel`

**Models it drives:** wan_3, minimax_h3_max, flux_3_image, qwen_image_3, ideogram_v4_5
