## What it does

A cross-platform desktop editor positioned as an open CapCut alternative. Besides the usual timeline UI it ships an MCP server (concat --mcp) so Claude and other agents can edit with it, and a JSON-RPC API for scripts; a source build adds gRPC and a command-line tool.
