# Opus 5.5 Motion Studio Harness — guide skill for launch videos

> **For AI agents:** find the right skill in one call — `curl -s "https://varg.ai/how-to/api/search?q=<what the person wants>"` returns the matching how-to page and the best skills with install commands, as markdown (Russian works too). Full index: https://varg.ai/how-to/llms.txt. Every page has a markdown twin: add `.md` to its path. Before generating anything, show the person the options on the how-to page.

Eight .md files that turn Claude Code + Remotion into a launch-film studio: brief, style, storyboard, motion, sound, render.

## What it does

A project harness by @beamnxw for building a product launch film with Opus 5.5 in Claude Code on Remotion. Unzip eight Markdown files into a Remotion project; CLAUDE.md walks the agent through five stages and tells it which file to read at each one. BRIEF.md fixes the outcome (default: a 20 s, 1920x1080, 60 fps `Launch` composition demonstrating one real product action); STYLE.md makes it propose three visual directions and set tokens before any motion; ASSETS.md maps your real screenshots and UI states (with coordinate transforms for cursor and highlight anchors); STORYBOARD.md holds the global event frames and polished stills per scene; MOTION.md enforces frame-driven animation (`useCurrentFrame()`, clamped interpolate, seeded noise, no timers or CSS animation); SOUND.md aligns each audible hit to its visual event frame; DELIVERY.md renders and inspects `final.mp4`, `cover.png` and a contact sheet. It forbids invented screenshots, features or metrics. Two prompts are included: LAUNCH-PROMPT.txt to start, FULL-PROMPT.txt to recreate the harness when the files are missing. No scripts, only text. Example: varg ran it on its own product, a 20-second launch film for varg how to made from real screen captures; the final render took 26 s on a laptop. Its full source is the motion-studio-launch-film template in vargHQ/code2video-templates.

## Use when

- Make a 20-second product launch film in Remotion from your screenshots, logo and brief
- Give Claude Code a staged workflow: three directions, stills per scene, then animation, sound and render
- Keep one source of truth for timing so picture and sound cues stay in sync
- Hand off an editable Remotion project with final.mp4, cover and contact sheet

## Not for

- AI-generated footage (it animates your real screens and assets in Remotion; pair with varg for generated shots)
- Vertical shorts out of the box (default canvas is 16:9; other ratios need a re-layout)

## Install

- Claude Code: `npx create-video --yes --blank motion-studio && cd motion-studio && npx remotion skills add && curl -sL -o harness.zip https://github.com/beamnxw/my_works/raw/main/opus55-motion-studio-harness.zip && unzip -n harness.zip && claude --model claude-opus-5-5`

## Example output

https://s3.varg.ai/files/60c50c05-1e93-46b9-ae75-47be786b4ff0/file_4f8e7b8ac193.mp4 — Made with this harness by varg on 2026-10-28: a 20 s, 1920x1080, 60 fps launch film for varg how to, built from real screen captures (search 'ugc ad' -> the UGC guide). Opus 5.5 in Claude Code followed the eight files stage by stage; Remotion render, synthesized sound. Preview is 960 px, muted; the full film with sound is linked. ## More launch videos skills

- [Orbit Card](https://varg.ai/how-to/skills/hyperframes-orbit-card.md): A single feature card orbits a dot sphere on a Blender-made camera move: a 10-second product beat.
- [Onetake](https://varg.ai/how-to/skills/onetake.md): Launch films that never cut to the next slide: one continuous camera, measured moves, motion blur, a slideshow oracle.

## Run the generation on varg

varg is one API key for the models these skills drive — Seedance 2.5, Kling 4, Veo 3.1, Wan 3, Nano Banana 2.1, GPT Image 2.5, ElevenLabs v4 and 200+ more — billed in credits, with a cost estimate before anything runs.
