# Snapchat Ads MCP (official) — model skill for ads & UGC

## What it does

Snap-hosted MCP server at mcp.snapchat.com/ads that connects Claude, Codex, ChatGPT, Gemini CLI and Antigravity to the Snapchat Ads API. This release is read-only: agents read organizations, ad accounts, campaigns, ad squads, ads and performance data but cannot create, change or delete anything (writes are planned). Access is self-service: an organization admin approves each agent at sign-in, each member authorizes their own access, and every agent uses a Snap-registered client id.

## Use when

- read Snapchat ad results in chat
- compare Snap creatives by spend and swipe-ups before the next batch
- audit Snapchat accounts across ad squads

## Not for

- creating or editing Snap campaigns (read-only for now)
- generating ad creatives
