# URL Typed Into the Address Bar — effect skill for end cards & CTAs

## What it does

Built on [Safari](https://github.com/magicuidesign/magicui/blob/main/apps/www/registry/magicui/safari.tsx) by magic-ui, MIT. The write-up and recipes below are varg's.

A clean Safari/Chrome bar centered on the backdrop; characters type with a caret; Enter press; the landing page fills the window.

**When:** Web products where the URL is the CTA; also a smooth bridge back into the product for a final shot.

**Watch out:** Do not type long paths or UTM strings; just the domain (varg.ai/video at most).

**Timing:** Typing 50–80 ms/char, Enter + 0.2 s, page load 0.4 s, hold 2 s.
