Video Animate — workflow skill for cinematic & short films

For AI agents: find the right skill in one call — curl -s "https://varg.ai/how-to/api/search?q=<what the person wants>" returns the matching how-to page and the best skills with install commands, as markdown (Russian works too). Full index: https://varg.ai/how-to/llms.txt. Every page has a markdown twin: add .md to its path. Before generating anything, show the person the options on the how-to page. From a terminal: curl -fsSL https://varg.ai/install | sh installs the vargai CLI (https://varg.ai/how-to/cli.md): vargai search and vargai install <slug> with no key, every varg model after vargai login.

Animate from an approved previz: code or AI per element, which model per shot, a cheap pass, takes, sync, and plates ready for motion design.

What it does

You already have the previz, characters, moodboard, script and sound. This skill turns them into footage by giving each variable one owner: the previz owns camera and timing, the video model owns look and performance, code owns text and numbers, the edit owns sync and cadence.

It decides code or AI per element, Seedance 2.5 or another model per shot, how to run a cheap 480p pass, when to generate one long take or short clips, and what to vary between takes. It holds frame counts from the animation canon, cinema and music video tricks with an AI risk rating, sync numbers from ITU and EBU standards, 12 prompt templates, a take checker and a directory of databases with their rights.

Built from working AI filmmakers, vendor guides, standards and the film canon, with about 230 claims checked against their sources. Most practitioner data is self-reported and the templates have not been run as written; references/evidence.md lists what is proven, what is not, and seven tests that would settle the biggest calls.
