Each line slides up out of an invisible slot, so the type looks cut from the frame.

What it does

Built on Vertical Cut Reveal by fancy, MIT. The write-up and recipes below are varg's.

Lines rise from behind a hard mask edge with no blur or fade, one after another, then exit upward the same way.

When: Editorial statements, manifesto lines, or the one-sentence promise near the open.

Watch out: Do not let the mask clip descenders; give the mask box ~0.15 em padding below the baseline.

Timing: Per line 0.5–0.7 s, expo.out or power4.out, 0.08–0.12 s between lines.
