Phone, Tablet and Laptop Splay — effect skill for device mockups

For AI agents: find the right skill in one call — curl -s "https://varg.ai/how-to/api/search?q=<what the person wants>" returns the matching how-to page and the best skills with install commands, as markdown (Russian works too). Full index: https://varg.ai/how-to/llms.txt. Every page has a markdown twin: add .md to its path. Before generating anything, show the person the options on the how-to page.

Phone, tablet and laptop fan out from one stack into a proud row, each showing the same product.

What it does

Built on Multi Device Splay by HeyGen (HyperFrames), Apache-2.0. The write-up and recipes below are varg's.

Devices start overlapped center, then slide and rotate into a splayed arrangement with depth and shadow.

When: Cross-platform claims ("everywhere you work") and launch finales.

Watch out: Do not show three different apps; the same screen across sizes is the message.

Timing: Splay 0.9–1.2 s expo.out with 0.08 s stagger; hold 1.5 s.

Also called: device family, cross-platform, multi-device

In HyperFrames

npx hyperframes add multi-device-splay

In Remotion

[phone,tablet,laptop].map((d,i)=>{const p=spring({frame:frame-i*3,fps,config:{damping:18}}); return <Img src={d} style={{transform:`translateX(${interpolate(p,[0,1],[0,(i-1)*520])}px) rotate(${interpolate(p,[0,1],[0,(i-1)*-4])}deg)`}}/>})

In CapCut

Three device overlays starting at the same position; keyframe each Position/Rotation outward with 3-frame offsets.
